Students receive Library and ART instruction through our MARC program once a week. Lessons are conducted with a literacy focus. Students develop their understandings of art techniques and concepts through exploration, analysis and creation of various art works. A love of literacy is nurtured through literature studies with texts from school library and the visiting MARC library Van.
The MARC sessions are also used to support local community events such as the Tyrendarra Show and Heywood Wood Wine and Roses festival.
